The TECH program by Mercedes-Benz is all about automotive technology and training to become a skilled repair technician inside our manufacturing facility in Vance, Alabama.

Work Requirements
- Applicants must be able to perform all duties listed in the standard Production Team Member job description.
 - Applicants must be able to lift a minimum 25lbs without assistance.
 - Applicants must be able to climb at unrestricted heights.
 - Applicants must be able to bend, stoop and twist.
 - Applicants must be able to perform overhead work.
 - Applicants must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day.
 - Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by August 15, 2025.
 
School Requirements
- Applicants must be eligible to take a college-level English course their first semester in the program.
 - Applicants must have a 2.75 High School GPA or better.
 - Applicants must have an ACT Score of 17 or better and/or Accuplacer Score of 4 or better. Applicants must be able to provide transcripts to Shelton State/Lawson State Community College.
