INSIDE MBUSI is MBUSI’s new Team Member communication app. Through the app, Team Members will have access to company news, HR forms, schedule updates, inclement weather alerts and much more at their fingertips. Team Members can download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

How to Register for the App:
- Go to your device’s App store
- Search “Inside MBUSI” and download our App
- Click “Get Started” and register for a new account under “Register Here”
- Enter your Username. [Note - Use your Username ID (Who Is Who ID) or your Employee Number*
In March 2021, Team Members received a postcard at the home address you had on file with HR with your username to help with your initial registration. You can also get your username or Employee Number from your Group Leader/Supervisor or visit the HR Service Desks in the Atrium 1 or 2.
- Register using any email you’d like.
- Type your first name
- Type your last name
- Chose a password that meets the password guidelines. Write it down so you don’t forget!
- Allow the app to send your phone push notifications. This is vital in getting alerts, like inclement weather, from MBUSI.
Team Members will be able to refer to the postcard they received from MBUSI, ask their Group Leader/Supervisor to help them find their username or Employee Number or they can visit the HR Service Desks.
NOTE: Team Members with a "Who is Who" Single Sign On Account to Daimler Social Intranet Site can use that account to login immediately
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my language settings on the app?
When used on a smartphone, the app will automatically change the language to the current smartphone language setting. In this mode, the app will use Google to translate Alert Notes, Comments, and Content Titles/Captions into your system language. The browser version of the application currently only supports the English language.
Using the App
Do I need to upload a photo to create an account?
You do not need to upload a photo to use InsideMBUSI.
Can I post anything?
We have a team of communications specialists and content managers from many departments who will manage the App’s content. If you have important information you would like to share, send an email to: 138_MBUSI-Special-Events
What happens when I save a message?
By selecting “save” in the content/message on your news feed, you are adding it to your “saved content” section in the App for your access only anytime. This content can only be viewed while in the app.
Account & Notification Settings
How do I log out of my account?
Go to settings (visible after clicking the three parallel lines in the bottom corner) and select sign out. Please note that signing out of the App will result in you not receive any notifications for important information.
How do I turn push notifications on or off on the Inside MBUSI app?
On iOS: At first launch, a pop up message should display once you logged into the Inside MBUSI app asking: Would you like to turn on notifications. It is important to Please turn on Notifications for important MBUSI Production and Business Information. If you accidentally decline it, you can go to your phone settings and scroll down to the app “Inside MBUSI” and select notifications.
On Android: this option can be found in Settings – Apps and Notifications – Inside MBUSI. It is important to Please turn on Notifications for important MBUSI Production and Business Information.
Privacy Settings & Information
Can people see my profile?
No one can see your profile. Only time your name/initials are visible is when you comment under a post.
Can I share information from the app?
Any information shared on the Inside MBUSI app is considered internal and confidential information. We ask all Team Members to keep this information with the app.
