The Mercedes Athletic Club (MAC)
Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. has been recognized as a Platinum Level Recipient of the American Heart Association’s Fit-Friendly Worksites Recognition program. The Fit-Friendly Worksites program is a catalyst for positive change. Worksites throughout the nation can be part of the initiative by making the health and wellness of their employees a priority. MBUSI was recognized as a Gold Level Fit-Friendly Worksite by the American Heart Association’s My Heart. My Life.™ initiative for:
- Offering employees physical activity support.
- Providing/increasing healthy eating options at the worksite.
- Promoting a wellness culture.
- Implementing at least nine criteria as outlined by the American Heart Association in the areas of physical activity, nutrition and culture.

Who is eligible to use the MAC?
The Mercedes Athletic Club (MAC) access is restricted to mainly MBUSI Team Members (including NAOS & MB Tech) and their spouses. If you are unsure of eligibility, please call the MAC at (205) 462-5500.
How do I sign-up for a membership?
Stop by the front desk of the MAC to fill out a one-year contract. Badge access will begin after all the paperwork is completed. You will also receive a key tag that you will scan once inside the facility.
We allow guests at the MAC. There is a $10.00 guest fee and you are only allowed to visit once a month.
What activities are available at the MAC?
The MAC offers group exercise classes as well as 2 cardio rooms (treadmills, stair steppers, ellipiticals, rowing machine, helix lateral, upright bikes, recumbent bikes, upper body bike). Paramount weighted machines, free weights starting at 2 pounds and going up to 115 pounds, assortment of kettlebells, towel and water service, certified trainers and qualified staff on-site at all times. We also have a group fitness studio with a range of classes offered that may include yoga, pilates, kickboxing, kettlebells, spinning, bootcamp, abs, core training, etc. MAC facilities also include, steam rooms and saunas, full size gym with indoor soccer, indoor golf, basketball, volleyball, and indoor hockey. We also offer 2 walking fitness trails on-site for all Team Members to use. Both trails are 1 mile from start to finish.
